We are delighted to introduce the forty-two participants who comprise the newest cohort of the Clergy Leadership Program, IJS’s flagship program that’s been reshaping the tenor of American Jewish life for close to twenty-five years.
This wonderful array of spiritual leaders – cantors, rabbis, chaplains, educators, higher-ed professionals, and entrepreneurs – spans the denominational spectrum, with participants serving communities across the US, Israel, and Latin America. We celebrate the unprecedented diversity of this group, which better reflects the Jewish community of today and positions this cohort to serve the spiritual needs of all Jews.
Cohort members will spend eighteen months together, learning and practicing a variety of Jewish spiritual practices grounded in mindfulness to nurture their personal spiritual enrichment and restoration, expand their leadership skills, and deepen their capacity to integrate Jewish contemplative practice into communal life to foster collective spiritual growth and well-being.
