Shevet Jewish Mindfulness Community is a sacred space for those of us in (or near) our 20s and 30s, a place to slow down, cultivate presence, explore mindfulness-based Jewish teachings and practices, and deepen our connections with ourselves, others, and the Divine. The challenges of our tumultuous world implore us to awaken a deeper sense of purpose, awareness, and adaptability to respond with wisdom and compassion in the face of change. Drawing sustenance from contemplative practices and guided by the ancient wisdom that has nourished Jewish spiritual life for generations, we are meeting this moment together.

Through teachings and guided practice, led by Kohenet Keshira haLev Fife, we’ll discover what it means to sit with the fullness of our experience, with curiosity, compassion, and presence.

Testimonials
Shevet has completely opened up a new world for me. It’s transformed the way I experience myself and the way I relate to Judaism. It has deepened my daily practice and made me feel more connected to the divine.
IJS’s programs geared specifically toward young adults have allowed me to engage with mindfulness in a way that has felt accessible and exciting, especially as a complement to my ritual practices and Shabbat observance outside of IJS. I also really enjoy the variety of teachers that come and lead sessions as well as having access to the library of past videos for me to explore on my own time.
Participating in Jewish mindfulness practice has shaped the way I connect with the world in a Jewish lens. Since starting my practice with IJS, I am more likely now than ever before to think, walk, speak Jewishly—to be surrounded by Jewish thought wherever I go.
